2. Bannack State Park - Another just up the road attraction from Elkhorn. It was the 1st Territorial Capital of Montana and also where my Great, Great, Great Grandfather ended up from England as a Butcher. 3. Big Hole Battlefield - West of Wisdom on Highway 43. Part of the Nez Perce War in 1877 is really, a beautiful place to see.
4. Beaverhead Rock - A stopping place for Lewis + Clark. Located on Highway 41 heading towards Twin Bridges from Dillon. It bears the namesake of Beaverhead County.

6. There are 3 major fishing rivers around Dillon - The Beaverhead, The Big Hole, + The Blacktail.
